A pet sitting meet and greet is a scheduled meeting between a pet owner and their pet sitter. The goal of the meet and greet is to help the pet owner and sitter get to know each other and establish trust.
Meet and greets usually take place at the location where the service is performed. For example, for the drop-in visit service, meet and greet takes place at the pet owner's home. The dog-boarding service takes place at pet sitter's home.
As a pet owner, you have an option to request a meet and greet with a pet sitter when you schedule a service on the Cloudy app. After your meet and greet, if you decide to move forward with the pet sitter, please press the Proceed button on the Meet and Greet tab of the booking page. This is a crucial step because the pet sitter will not be able to accept your booking until you press the Proceed button. Please note: No cancellation fees will be recorded in the app when you cancel a booking before it is accepted by the pet sitter.
